Trained in the United States and France, Christopher Goscha is currently professor of international relations at the Université du Québec à Montréal
(UQAM).
He has published widely in French and English on the wars for Vietnam, wars of decolonization in North Africa and Southeast Asia, and the history of
the Cold War. His recently published Vietnam: A New History (Hachette) which won several prizes.
His next book, The Road to Dien Bien
Phu will appear in March this year. He is currently writing a new book on American foreign policy in the Asia-Pacific since the 18th century.
