Greek guitarist, Dimitris Soukaras playing on an acoustic guitar with a romantic sound, much like a medieval lute, accompanies the divine voice of Lotte Betts-Dean. They will present a program
based on music by John Dowland (1563-1626) and Nick Drake (1948-1974). These two London song writers, who lived 400 years apart, both composed and performed their own songs. The distance in time
seems immense between them; yet they share a melancholy in their lyrics that brings them together in the most surprising way.
